Multi-beam Surveyor Training

MosaicHydro, in partnership with QPS-US (IVS3D), is offering its 12th Multi-beam Surveyor Training Course in Portsmouth New Hampshire from 24th to 28th October. This 35+ hour course is designed to train individuals wishing to be multi-beam surveyors and post-processors. This training includes over 6 hours onboard a multibeam vessel fitted with an R2Sonic 2024 multi-beam echosounder, a POS MV V4 Inertial Navigation System, and QINSy data collection software. Classroom topics include multi-beam theory of operation, setup, operation and post-processing with a special focus on Fledermaus for data cleaning and visualisation. This course is being held at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel, with special rates available until 22 September, and is limited to 12 participants.
